Question about 2005 Nissan Armada
My vehicle hesitates when going from a stopped position. After it reaches 2nd gear its fine. I took it too a transmission place and they told me the code P1759 came up and I needed to replace/rebuild the transmission. I contacted Nissan and they told me it could just be a sensor gone bad and to come there to have a diagnostic check. I have scheduled an appt with them tomorrow but in the meantime I am trying to look for possible answers. I don't have money for a new/rebuilt transmission
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Probably sensors! I have already replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor once, nissan replaced it once under recall and now it is bad again! Plus my speed sensor is bad too! Go to any part store and get diagnostic test ran, it will tell what sensors are bad.

SOURCE: 1996 Nissan 200SX Speed Sensor
It is possible that this code can be caused by the speedometer head itself. The signal from the speed sensor is processed in the speedometer and then sent to the ECM. Check the two screws on the back of the speedometer to see if they are loose. If so retighten and drive to see if the check engine light comes back on. If they are tight, replace the speedometer assembly( I think you gave to purchase the entire meter assembly). If the light still comes on, which is unlikely, you will need to check the wire going to the ECM.

My service engine soon light came on saturday on my 2003 nissan altima 2.5s, took it to the dealer and he stated I need a Catalytic Converter for the light to go off. Last yr Jan I had the same thing happen and there was a recall on the ECM they reset it for free. Any suggestions? I am so tired of getting ripped off being a single woman. The repair price they gave me was $940, my mechanic says he can repair w/new converter total charge of $300

There is a silver box underneath the center console, just to the right of the gas pedal.
Pull off the plastic cover (it has two plastic fasteners. It will go back on).
Peel back the plastic film covering the screw.
Put the key in and turn the ignition switch on, but do not strt the car (all the warning indicator lights should go on).
Turn the screw all the way clockwise for two or three seconds and turn turn it back. Repeat just to be sure.
Turn the key off. When you turn the key back on the Check Engine light should be off.
Replace the plastic film over the screw and replace the plastic panel.
