Question about 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
It sounds like a rubbing grinding sound..i have taken it to to mechanics and they both say i need the transfer case replace and the cost is anywhere from 1100-1800..is their another solution?? their are no leaks , just noise..help...
When does this sound happen? Does it do it in 4wd or in 2wd? Does the sound change when turning?
If the t-case is visually not broken, it could be just a strecthed chain inside the t-case. A chain is about 280.00 dollars plus installation
