It's sounds like a fuse problem but check your dimmer switch also.

NO power to the radio or clock

Did you actually check the radio plug for power, or does the display just not illuminate? I ask because this radio has a little bulb inside that burns out that illuminates the clock, and radio station. You can confirm this by trying to use the radio normally, and trying to 'seek' a station. If you can get it to tune in, it is definitely the bulb. Another way is to shine a nice bright flashlight into the clock face. You should be able to see the stations and clock, that at least will tell you that the radio is working. - Hope this helps =)

My radio does not illuminate on my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe how do I fix this

Some radios have permanent illumination when the ignition is on and some radios have various other types of illumination. As far as my experience goes I haven't found any separate fuses for radio illumination.

The radio needs removing and the connections checked to ensure any illumination current is present. If it is the radio will need repair. It is a long time since radios have been fitted with easily replaced bulbs and either solder-in bulbs or leds and series resistors or a mixture of both are used.

When the headlights are turned on, the clock/radio display cannot be seen. Would this be a fuse that needs to be replaced or a burned-out bulb, and, if it is a burned-out bulb, how do you go about...

I think the problem is in your dimmer switch. It controls the dash backlights as well as the display on the radio. Is this a factory radio and are you dash backlights bright?

Where the fuse box to a 88 ford thunder bird 5.0 liter

The fuse panel is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, next to the emergency brake pedal. You need to remove the under-dash insulation to access some parts of the fuse panel.

If it doesn't have a diagram inside the box, here's one I found online: http://www.coolcats.net/tech/reference/images/fusepanel.jpg

Subaru Forester, 2003. clock light and dome light not working (clock works, just no light at night). all other dash lights appear to function. i replaced fuse marked 12 in engine fuse panel, described...

The clock works, correct? It is just not illuminating when your headlights are turned on? If this is the case then it is most likely that you have 2 burned out bulbs. The forester clock bulb is Sylvania bulb part #2723

Hope that helps! I have a bunch of clock related info on my website www.autoclockrepair.com. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

2002 Jeep Liberty radio/clock display not working

If the radio works, but the display doesn't the bulb is burned out, I think removing the radio is necessary to replace it. I would see it as an excellent opportunity to upgrade sound systems and go with an aftermarket unit that will interface with your Ipod.

No radio display

u must pull the radio out and remove the top cover of the radio, under that u will find a tiny bulb socket just behind the display inside the radio, remove that twist in bulb socket and replace the miniature bulb, any parts store will have it.
