Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Its your Idle speed valve. PCS (part supplier) quoted me £45 + vat for the part. Easy fit but I paid a mate £10 to do it for me
hope that helps

you should have the code read with a scanner at a garage Possible (Throttle position sensor ??? (TPS) the code reader will tell you exactly wich sensor is the problem

check your throttle body make sure all the springs are connected. your throttle body may be nasty inside and may need cleaning, it may be getting stuck. Throttle cable could be sticking or disconnected (there are two one pulls and one returns to idle IIRC)
also you should really search www.tccoa.com and become a member there if you are not already.
