SOURCE: reprogramming blank key iveco daily

Unfortunately there is no solution to this except to take it back to Iveco for reprogramming.

I am led to believe from my locksmith that there are two types of transponders generally put into cars and vans.

The first is a simple chip wtih a code which matches a code in the car / Van

The second is a chip which has a set of codes. They are read in order and the car / van remembers which one was used last. If you use the wrong code in the sequence then the car / van will ignore it and not let you start the engine.

The Iveco is unfortunately in the second group. If, like me, you snap your key, you can superglue a new key to the old and it works fine. The chip doesn't need to be "too" close to the barrel. Yes, it looks ugly, but it's much cheaper!

It may be out of adjustment or worse the fingers on the clutch disk are worn so bad the clutch has to be replaced.

How do I get my 07 Iveco daily to start as I changed all the fuses as I had blown the wiper one and now the immobiliser does not let me start it.

Try starting from scratch, disconnect battery for a few minutes and reconnect, ECU are usually reset and it may clear this default in your immobilizer. FREE-PPV.com

Hi , I have a iveco daily on a 57 plate I have to injectors leaking I had garage take them out and cleaned and manage to stop 1 leak apparently they don't have seals it's metal to metal ?? How can I stop...

is this diesel ? take to another garage, as injectors do have seals , but once there leaking you will need new injectors as the seal will be crushed to the bottom of the injector seat , and cannot be repaired as not cost effective as opposed to buying a new set

Ok this only started once it got cold out. when I go and start my car to warm up there is an overwhelming smell of gas inside and out. It gets better as I drive but as soon as I have to start at a light or...

Firstly stop driving your car until fixed !! You may have a cracked fuel line or split fuel line. Your problem seems worse at lights because you are stationary with no air flow through your car to blow the fumes away. It is dangerous to drive as it is. All you need is a spark from a cigarette etc. Any doubt get it towed to a garage .
