Question about 1998 Chevrolet Express
I have a 2003 Chevy Express and the high beams come on all by themselves.I'll be driving along and they will start to flash on and off.....I've taken the turn signal stalk off the steering column and unhooked all the wiring and it still does it.
It'd done it sporadicaly during the last year but in the last 2 weeks it's doing it all the time........since I drive at night it's annoying to me and the other drivers who think I'm flashing them all the time.
This is not a solution, but a rather frustrating temporary remedy. I have found since I posted the problem on Dec. 2nd, that if I slap the dashboard, directly above the passenger cigarette lighter, on the dash board ridge, I can get then to turn off ...... at least for a few minutes. I hope I find the permanent solution before I destroy my dash with slapping :)
