Actually it is not serious at all. You just need to adjust the dim level on the instrument panel lights. You should have a knob for that. Isn't it the one on the left side of the steering wheel.

Buy the corresponding bulbs to what you want to change and then you just undo the screws, pop the cover off, unscrew the screws holding the cluster itself, take it off and unplug the back then just twist and remove the bulbs and replace and reinsert and close it all up.
First of all disconnect the negative battery terminal before disassembling any part. Then Just remove the trim around the radio, remove the main dash panel (which is held in by 4 screws ans 2 clips), disconnect the hazard switch, clock, dimmer, and mirror switch. remove the 4 screws that hold the gauge cluster, and gently pull the cluster forward to access the bulb sockets on the back of the cluster. You need to take the radio U shaped trim off, then the entire panel from the AC/Heat controls to the vent on the other side of the steering wheel. Unscrew the cluster, and unplug the plugs.
------- Mary the positions of all the parts which you remove.Keep the marker handy to mark the positions. This marking will help while reconnecting the parts.
This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
