I had just changed fuel pump 1998 Nissan Pathfinder there was a power problem, now it turns over and acts like it want's to start but it seems no fuel

Was it running before you changed the pump just with low power or are you saying it was running low on voltage?
There are only 2 wires on the pump the black of ground wire gets grounded on the left side of the trunk, the other wire goes to the fuel pump relay in the under hood fuse block along with the pump fuse. Is the pump good? If you pull the fuel pump relay and jumper #30 to terminal #87 in the fuel pump relay connector the pump should run (make sure there's voltage in #30) find the fuel rail test port and remove the plastic cover with the relay connector jumpered push the schreader valve and fuel should spray out. If not and you hear the pump run look for a pinched line or a bad fuel filter which I hope you already changed. I hope this helps. Take care. I know it's late but I'll be around for a bit if you have more questions for me use comment or whatever.

1997 nissan pathfinder got hit rear passager side, now won't start

Did you check your fuel lines for breaks or kinks? Any electrical harness under there where hit? Like a fuel pump connector?
You might want to test fuel pressure at the test port on the fuel rail.

have you check the ground on that side of the light. it could be not properly grounded.
if there is no good ground, what would happen is that one bulb would become a ground for the other to light low where as the other one would not light anymore.

tnx again 4 using fixya,

87 Nissan Pathfinder Fuel Pump

if you ran out of fuel it may have blown the fuel pump fuse. put gas in tank. replace fuel pump fuse and cycle the key on but not to the start position, you should hear a buzzing noise which is your fuel pump when the buzzing stops turn ignition off and do it again. repeat a bout 5-10 times and it should start after that.
