SOURCE: Vt Holden Commodore stereo wiring diagram

head down to your local auto store and you will be able to pick up a wiring harness adaptor. you wire your stereo to this adaptor then you simply plug it into the wiring loom. no damage to the loom so if you ever need to reinstall the standard stereo its just an unplug and plug back in. its extremely simple and colour coded so there are no mistakes.

SOURCE: just want to know how

Not familiar enough with Holden to say, but according to Wiki, it is an Australian version of a GM, German Opel.

Here is what the waterpump looks like:

Changed spark plugs ht leads and coil and still the car is missing when i drive it wot am i missing

With the miss you have it could be a few things.
did you change all the coil packs?
did you refit the heat shields to the new spark plug needs as these can cause a miss .
it could be the electronic module under the coil pack.
it could be a faulty injector or fuel problem..

wondering if the coil pack is crook. had this on a vn commodore .
A resistance test by the mechanic was also showing that the replacement coil pack was crook also, so they had to order another one .

My vt commodore is missing to the **** house I have changed plugs and leads that made it a bit better but still missing any idears

on the bottom of the coil pack there is a wiring loom that over time tends to become loose. its got a small bole that holds it in the pack its a tiny little about a 6 or 8mm bolt. try tightening it.

I've got a 1999 VT commodore, have had injectors, plugs replaced but still have rough running in nuetral. Would it the plate where the leads plug into?

i just had this problem i had water coming into the motor via the inlet manifold . the only way is to pull it apart and look and replace $75 for Holden for inlet manifold gasket and they have to be done up by torque wrench to 8-12 nm or 6 fpound only or you crush them big job if you know how also clean throttle body

Rough idle causes for a vt commodore 98 berlina V6 ecotec

Inlet manifold gasket loose (valley gasket) my vt was running like **** at idle only , tightened the 12 bolts near the injectors runs perfect now if that doesn't fix it the gasket may be wrecked $70 kit or get it done
Water was getting into the throttle body and into the cylinders causing irregular and irratick loping and rough idle it had me thinking it was all different things like leads , air leaks , bad fuel , bloked injectors , computers , coils
You'll probably find some loose one their is a torque sequence but try just tightening them start with middle side 4 first hope this helps and saves people money

this cars are known for bad distributor caps, also clean the throttle body.also how about the coil, thats not arching is it?.another the to look at would be the oxygen sensor it may be running rich or lean, take a look at these things and see what you have there, also check the injectors resistance, specs are 1-2 ohms. one more thing to look at is the egr valve, make sure its not opening @ idle.good luck. easy to see if the clutch is causing this problem and that by have car in neutral and see if it runs rough, this way if clutch isnt completly disengaging it wont matter in neutral.
