That is the power distribution center, the fuse box is under the dash to the left of the steering column under a cover, they are marked, the plastic cover will have FUSES molded into it.

Sounds like the plastic clip that connects the lock has broken however regardless of fault the inner door panel has to be removed to diagnose and repair.It could also be inner door lock assembly.

if you open the passanger door there is a slot for the key. you will need to press the button on the circular key to pull out the real key.
Don't do that!The airbag is a safety device which can save the life of the passenger in case of an accident!However,as the Corvette is a 2-seat car,if you are talking about a child,I strongly recommend you to install an aftermarket Passenger Airbag ON-OFF switch.That is possible even for older car models

Turn your radio off
Press the #1 Preset button and #6 Preset button at the same time and while doing this with your other hand turn your radio on and your will get a stereo code. Call the dealer and see if they will give you the unlock code for the stereo code otherwise go to stereo-code.com and pay $ 28.00 to get it quick

The most likely cause of your problem is the heater elements in your seats. They usually fail after a number of years due to the high heat and flexing of people getting in and out of the seats.
