SOURCE: escort van 55 blower heater does not blow at all

I had this problem on my '98 Ford Escort ZX2.
It did not need a new blower but a $15 Blower Motor Resistor.  The wires and connectors rusted out.

SOURCE: Windshield wipers, heater blower fan & power windows just stopped

Replaced the ignition switch, the circuit breaker in the ignition switch wears out, the ignition switch powers the fuse box. You can get a new ignition switch from napa for $128.00 do not get it from the dealer, they sell it as a kit with door locks as well so that the key matches, and then you are lookin at $249.00. Unhook the steering column and drop it so you can drill out the ignition switch assembly, that is a short cut so you do not have to pull the entire steering wheel off. Consolo Automotive

SOURCE: Blower on the heater/AC not working on 1998 Escort, checked fuse under dash?

Ok, first off, check the fuses under the dash. If they're all good, does the blower work only on high speed? If yes, then you have a bad blower motor resistor, which is located under the hood, near the blower motor itself. If the motor doesnt work at all at any fan speed, make sure the wiring harness that plugs into the motor under the hood is clean and tightly installed. If it still doesnt operate, sometimes tapping on the blower motor housing will kick it on, but if that doesnt work, you may have to replace the blower motor. They are available aftermarket, and arent usually too expensive.

I want to find the location of the fuel pump relay on a se ford escort 1998 wagon.

Fuel pump relays are typically located in the power distribution box under the hood or mounted on the Drivers side fender wall. The Fuel pump relay, AC relay and Starter Relay are all the same type and interchangeable so you can change them out between each other, like move the AC relay to the Fuel pump relay position and see if that resolves the problem.

Can not find blower motor relay on 1997 escort lx

I have bypassed this same issue when we had our Escort wagon! I tried a new blower motor relay and no luck, from my research this is a common problem, i opted to go for the aftermarket fan relay from Advanced auto, it worked perfectly! anyhow the relay is behind the driver's side headlight underneath the black box Good luck!

Where is the relay for the winshield wipers. on a 92 Ford Escort wagon

Inside the engine compartment you will find the relay box and in the box you will find 2 or more blank relay spots to fit your relay in. you may have some with the wires hot but you may have to hook them up yourself going with your relay diagram this way it will look factory and not just hung on some spot that can give you trouble. be sure to put in-line fuse going to the light so if it shorts somehow the fuse blows before you damage relay or burn the wire for the light.

Most probably it is a relay problem. First check from car manual which relay is commanding to your wipers, blower etc... Then you or your service have to replace it.
