Some say, it's good to have high oil pressure. but it is abnormal to the system. does it means there is restrictons from oil gallery that makes the oil pressure go high. any kind of motor or engine needs change oil. you had manaul recommending, when you change oil and what kind of motor oil you're going to use. change your oil filter too.

usually that sensor is on oil pan or the block in the front of engine.

SOURCE: low iol pressure light coming on

could be a sensor. Need to put a gauge on there and check the oil pressure, If ok, replace the sensor. If you have low oil pressure at idle, it is likely the oil pump is shot or the pick up screen is clogged with debris. In either case, this is going to require major repairs.

SOURCE: ANYONE KNOW HOW MANY HOURS TO REPLACE HIGH

These are usually and item which will last at least 3 - 5 years before they would need replacing under correct servicing conditions.

If you have been replacing them more frquent then you have a problem with either the hose assemblies them selves or how they are been fitted.

Hope this helps

MY OIL PRESSURE GUAGE PEGS HIGH WHEN THE TRUCK IS RUNNING. IT ALSO PEGS HIGH WHEN I JUST TURN THE KEY AND DONT START IT AND WHEN I TURN IT OFF IT GOES BACK TO ZERO. THANK YOU

Whats the make and model? Depending on what you are driving it sounds like either your oil filter is plugged up and you need an iol change, you have oil that is too thick in there, too much oil, or possably a clog in the oil pump or paths running to and from that area

The oil pressure guage on my 2006 nissan frontier is reading very high after recently changing the oil, however, the correct amount of oil was added during the change. Furthermore the oil dipstick...

The guage may rise a little when you accelerate the vehicle...but if it is pegged high, and does not fluctuate, when you turn your ignition key on an off...Your oil pressure switch maybe going bad...Goodluck

Oil Pressure Light

Chances are you do have low oil pressure, you should have a pressure check run with a mechanical test guage to verify the low oil pressure, for now assume the oil press is low, I wouldn't drive the car, you run the risk of damage to the engine bearings, a very very expensive thing to repair.

Air guage light

looking in my service manuals it has to be done by the nissan dealer as it uses their scan tool.
if you had tire repaired and put back in same spot then light should have gone off
check your air pressure in all tires if low fill with proper inflation and drive light should go off.
If pressures are good then the sensor in the wheel you had flat in is damaged
