Hi, we in our garage have used a new product that actualy seals the leak.
Yes its hard to believe so we tried it on a tractor of 130hp & so far so good 2 months on.
It sells for about £50 in our local car parts wholesalers.
But when I get to my garage tomorrow I will check up on the name of it.
Worth a try & if it works on your car it will save you a fortune as all I can say is that you prob have a cracked head.
Common for Rolls Royce engines.

Before you venture in to an expensive repair - try something cheap like test or change out the radiator cap. It causes the same to happen.

From description, looks like the head gasket is starting to go.

Cars can still run for many miles even when the head gasket lose his grip, and water is getting into the engine.

In this case the car will have less compression, but will drive the same, until the head gasket goes completely.

At a certain point the head gasket will fail completely, the water gets vapourized immediately in large quantity inside the engine, and the car won't drive anymore, leaving the driver in the middle of the road.

Once I have driven a car with head gasket problems for over 10K miles, before it blew in the middle of the motorway, not a good experience.

My suggestion is taking the car to a garage to fix the head gasket, before getting in troubles.

The gasket kit costs about $50, that is 40 euros or thirty pounds more or less. The job to fit the gasket is expensive, and depends on the garage.
Here in UK you do not pay less than 250 pounds labour.

Here is an example : PEUGEOT 106 GTI CITROEN SAXO VTS TU5J4 HEAD GASKET SET

The head gasket replacement must be performed by a mechanic, as is not a simple operation.

The head gasket for the Rolls is more expensive.

Why is my motor oil turnning white? and my truck water getting low?

Replace the head gaskets most likely. Your car must have gotten warm enough to warp the heads and lose the seal on the head gaskets. If you get lucky it may be just a leak in the intake manifold that is letting water into the oil, but fix it before driving or you will ruin the motor.

I have a 2000 daewoo nubira... I think that the head gasket maybe shot, but there is nothing leaking into the oil or the exhaust. Where the antifreeze goes the water is going somewhere, but not sure where...

White stuff in the water is most likely oil. To test the head gasket, fill the radiator right up to the neck, leave the cap off. warm up the engine untill the top hose gets warm. Then look for bubbles in the radiator, keep it topped right up to the filler top. Continuous bubbles mean a faulty head gasket.
Antifreeze goes in the radiator.

Sounds to me like it might be more of a leak than repair/sealer can handle. It never hurts to try though. But if it doesn't work, you might have a little more cleanup to do when you pull the head. It may also be a cracked head as opposed to just a head gasket as well. keep thet in mind. A bad head gasket will cause an overtemp, not the other way around. As for the temp gauge, someone may have worked on it before. sounds like it's hooked up backwards. check it out. if the gauge is bad, it's probably cheaper and easier to get an aftermaket one.

if it isnt leaking on the ground, it's going into the engine , white white smoke from the tailpipe is definately a blown head gasket. do a pressure test on the radiator, if the pressure goes down, with no leaks on the ground, its a head gasket

Hi there my mini keeps overheating.i have changed the thermostat, radiator and still overheating. the car is not losing any water and there is no traces of water in the oil and no white smoke or water...

It could be signs of early head gasket failure. I had a subaroo do the same thing, ran great but would boil out water, then it finally blew. Had to replace the engine. It was cheaper than doing the heads. There was no signs of white smoke, no water in oil, just ran hot, some of the time. I don't know if a compression check would help, but what I would do is get it to a radiator shop, they will tell you more than anybody.
