I cant make heads or tails of that diagram. Where is the fuel pump shut off switch? My fuel pumps are not getting power. I changed both relays under the hood and the high pressure pump in-line.

It is inside the cab, driver's side, high up on the firewall.

SOURCE: 89 bronco II stars then dies

if the fuel pump cutoff was tripped it would not start at all, I know this for sure, I am a Ford dealer tech and I specialize in no starts and check eng lights. If the ignition switch is bad the 2 halves of the switch will be starting to come apart, it is very common, u should be able to either see it or feel it with your hand.

SOURCE: fuel pump location and replacement

You are looking for the constant control relay module- ( CCRM ) see below. The pump will be located inside the fuel tank. Most of the time , its the pump and not the relay but, it wouldn't hurt to check the relay out. Teh relay is housed in the CCRM. Its located behind the engine coolant reservoir.

I've recently purchased an 88 ford bronco with a 5.0 that had been sitting in a repo yard for about a year. after replacing a fuel pump and filter i was able to get it running. it idles well and s

The first thing I would check is the park brakes coming fully off when released. If the units are rusted and stiff you will have dragging brakes which will give the symptoms you describe. After all it has been sitting for a year with the park brake on.

I have a Ford BroncoII 88 2,9 V6, changed 2 fuel pumps but still have problems starting when motor is cold, looks like not enough gas is coming trough, I have to accelerate a little and then motor is...

It may be equipped with a cold start injector. This injector spray extra fuel when the motor is cold to allow normal startup. I'm not too familiar with this vehicle but I had a similar problem on an 88 camaro and it turned out to be a faulty cold start injector.

Is there anyway to bypass the fuel pump on a 88 Bronco 2 to make it continuosly run to empty the gas tank?

Why would you want to do that? Are you concerned about using your whole tank's supply? If so, forget it. Your 88 Bronco needs the pressure from the pump to properly operate. You could run without it on the highway, but certainly not in town. Don't consider your proposition. It's just not worth it. If all you need to do is bypass the pump to drain the tank for whatever reason, you'll need to remove the pump.
