SOURCE: 2005 Subaru Outback factory roof rack

It is extremely simple. Loosen the screw, believe it is a hex head but may be torx, on the bottom of the crossbar and the crossbars will pop right off.

SOURCE: Fuel Filter for a 2005 Subaru Outback

In 2005 Subaru moved the fuel filters to the fuel tank for both 4-cyl and 6-cyl cars. What is confusing is the statement in the owner's manual about replacement intervals; the statement actually only applies to 4-cyl cars. Even though the filter is mounted in the tank, this is still a replaceable element on 4-cyl, but not on 6-cyl. The 6-cyl filter element is part of the entire fuel pump assembly (a $300 assembly) and is not sold separately. Therefore the 6-cyl filter is intended to be a "lifetime" part, which really means it gets replaced when the fuel pump fails and the entire pump assembly is replaced.

My front washer fluid stopped working on my 2001 subaru impreza outback, I can't hear the motor when I activate it, what's the problem?

Have you check fluid levels? Sounds like there may be a clog with in the lines themselves. Check the lines after the motor. Good luck.

Use a thick needle (or tooth pick), partially insert into the nozzle and gently re-orientate the direction. Test a nozzle spray and repeat steps until desired trajectory is aquired.

For 2001 Forrester Subaru - Front Windshield Washer fuse

If it makes noise, it's not the fuse. Most likely the discharge nozzles are stopped up. Try blowing compressed air into them from the outside.

Windshield washer sprayer 4 front.....no no pump sound

The reservoir does not need replacement.
First check for burnt fuse.
Next check if the washer motor terminals are securely connected.
If you want to test the motor connect it to the battery and see if it works. If the motor is fine then this is a wiring fault.
The motor may also be clogged with things like small bits of paper etc.
