SOURCE: battery removal on a 2004 GMC Envoy

The battery is on the right side behind the fuse box. You need a metric set to undo the 3 screws. Theres one that attaches to the body, one to the bar that goes along the top, and theres one on the left side below the vacuum hose and air induction. After you've taken out those three, you should lift the whole thing out(battery and shroud) together. It's hard to take the shroud off before you lift the battery out. After that, you have to pry the shoud off the battery. The two terminals in the back make it hard. Then just go to any auto parts store and they'll give you a new one.

Where is the pvc loaded and how do you replace it?

It is located in the top of the intake manifold...In the old version manifold it is part of the manifold (Can't replace it individually), the new version it is removable.

Where are the oxygen sensors located on a 2006 gmc envoy

We have 2 locations, upstream before the CAT, and dowstream below the CAT. The upstream is on the passenger side at the exaust manifold very easy to access from the top. The downstream one is after the cat, accessible from underneath. The connector for this one is a PIA, up near the top of the tranny. But doable if you're in the right position.

Noise in intake manifold 2006 envoy

A few generic ideas come to mind:

loose/worn choke plate hinges
worn/sticking choke plate seat
sticking throttle linkage in need of lubrication
leaking intake hose - causing hissing as air gets sucked in through the leak
loose intake manifold body - check tightness of bolts

For more specific ideas:
In 2006 GMC manufactured the Envoy in both 2WD and 4WD versions:
with available engines:
6 Cylinders S 4.2L SFI DOHC
8 Cylinders M 5.3L SFI OHV

2006 GMC Envoy vapor canister purge solenoid, where is it located? It is a 2-WD, SLE, with the in line 6.

The vapor canister purge solenoid is on the left side of the motor about in the middle just bellow the intake manifold. It might be hard to see from obove the engine. You might be able to get a better look from behind the drivers side front wheel.Hope this helps.Good luck.
