How often should I change my 454's oil?

Go with the schedule oil change as listed in the hand book. Otherwise 10.000 klm or 6 months . Change at 5000klm if difficult conditions. Type of oil Conditions dictate if you use a multi grade 10/15w- 20/30/40/50 grade oil Again check the hand book Mineral oil will do just a good a job as the more expensive synthentic types As to brands that is you choice.

Losing power going up long hills it has to be a long one otherwise car runs fine could it be the torque converter or something else

Depending on mileage you could have a cat problem. Have the exhaust back pressure checked when the cat is fully warmed up. It may be the cat overheating on a long grade.

Oil pressurer loss ford bronco2

It's normal for the oil pressure to fall off at idle as it gets warmer because the oil gets thinner. It should operate between about 20 and 60 lbs. If it drops below 10 lbs at hot idle, you may have some bearing wear or a worn pump.
