Question about Chevrolet 1500
My avital alarm kept goin off so i disconnected it so it would go off.. then my truck would not start,so i hooked alarm back up but now my truck will turn over and if it starts at all it will die immediately.
Contact AVITAL company. This sounds like the alarm is killing the ignition or fuelpump circuit. Sometimes there is a sequence used in alarm resets and you should know it if you are out in the Boonies without a Cell signal.

if you are getting a CKP (crankshaft position sensor) code, and during you rebuild you had removed the sensor of moved it in any way, you probably need to perform a CKP sensor relearn. check with your local shops, as they need to be set up to do this, but it is not an expensive thing.
