Can be a number of things, If you can get an OBD2 scanner you can plug it up to your car and possibly find the problem. It's better than taking it to a garage if it is a simple fix and you will have it to use in the future on other cars or trucks- you can pick up one of these at walmart for about 150.00 I fixed mine with one and use it all the time. These only work on 96 and newer models.

Pickup will not start. have new battery still nothing is there a fuse or relay to start motor

if it cranks over-it may be an ignition system fault/ if you turn the key and nothing happens at all with a good battery-it may be a bad starter motor-the starter motor has a very small wire connection not like the big fat starter motor battery connection-it is small and comes from the ignition switch - just apply 12 volts from the battery to that connector terminal and the motor will crank-key off it will not start-turn key to ignition on- it will start, so be in park and block the wheels and do not make a mistake

When i go to start my car, nothing happens. and my lights flicker when i turn them on. whats wrong with my car?

From what you have described the battery is practically flat and has insufficient charge to turn the starter motor.

If the battery is 3 or more years old it will be on its last legs and should be replaced because it will not be able to hold it's charge.

You have not said if you have tried jump starting your car using power from another vehicle. If your car can be jump started by hooking your car up to a battery (with sufficient cranking amps rating) on another vehicle then clearly your battery is the problem.

99 honda accord dies @various times. Whats happening?

Does it restart easily?

Check the battery lead to the car body the black one ensure it is tight and has a good connection. ensure the battery leads are both tight and make sure neither are touching the bonnet.

Can you give me some more details like how it happened, what the car does when it happens etc.?

Regards
Dan

sounds like it. but you could always check the basics before spending a bunch. Check your: battery cables, no corosion or loose fitting. make sure your battery is good and full, pop the caps on the top of the battery and pour in some distilled water if the fluid is not 1/4 of an inch from the top. check all fuses ect...

When i turn the key on my 99 tiburon nothing happens.

check for power at the igntion wire at the starter while someone turns the key into the start position, if no power is recieved at the wire check it for brakes, if all is good with the wire change ignition switch, have had this problem on hondas as well.
