Question about 1987 Ford F 350
Both cabs are standard, 93 is fuel injected the 87 is carbureted with electronic ignition
Your going to run into more hurdles than just the starter and coil.however the starter you can wire the cellinoid to the ignition and just run a power lead to your battery. the coil you can easily run to a standalone ignition system such as an msd or mallory setup. you may want to look into a painless wireing harness, you can find them online, they can make you anything you need and it will be a plug and play setup, no head scratching needed. and the underhood will look clean rather than a rats nest of unused wires and random wires running here and there.
