If you get a engine check light you can go to the parts store and use their code reader to find out witch cylinder it is, could just be a spark plug which is a cheap fix.

Swap the coil pack with another cylender. If the error code follows the coil pack then replace the coilpack.

Forget the PO316 and 1st 1000 Rev,that is a Ford thing
No other PO Codes? PO 305 for cyl #5?
If you have individual coils (COP Ignition )
one is bad. Last number of a 300 code is the cyl
maybe. Unless it is really bad,then get back here
