The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Mine will light, I hold button in for 30 seconds but as soon as I let go it goes out

I'm thinking this question doesn't belong in the category 'Cars and Trucks'!

Your tip is currently published: Edit Tip Tip & How-To about Heating & Cooling

Pilot Light won't stay lit? We get asked this question many times.

If you light your pilot light, hold in the button and then when you release it and the pilot light goes out, generally you need a new thermocouple. Gas repairs can only be undertaken by a qualified gas technician so you can't do this job yourself.

The thermocouple is a safety device that recognises that the pilot has a good flame and is enough to ignite the main burners. The thermocouple opens that valve to the burner.

In limited circumstances the thermocouple doesn't need replacing, either the shield that aims the flame to the thermocouple has become dislodged, or the pilot jet is a little blocked by debris. Either way, having the appliance serviced by a qualified gas fitter is the way to go. I am sure you will have seen news stories about explosions caused by gas leaks and faulty appliances.

Service traction system on 2003 pontiac montana

Check the wheel speed sensors. Traction control reads wheel speeds to know when a tire loses traction(it speeds up compared to the others). When the TC control module(computer) senses a problem such as a sensor out of tolerance, or an open circuit, such as a broken or disconnected wire/connector, it disables the TC and lights the light as a tell-tale.
Are you having trouble with ABS? Usually a wheel speed sensor defect will also affect the ABS too.

How to get bolts out of a torque converter on a 99 Nissan quest

Where is the torque converter? Transmission installed in car?
If so there is often an access plate on the bottom of the bell housing to get the bolts off with an open end or box wrench. If the access plate is on the top you often have to pull the engine/transmission, release the TC bolts, then split the trans from the engine to replace the torque converter.
If you've broken the bolts and there are stubs in the TC you can try to drill them out and use an EZ-out bolt remover. OR just replace the TC.

How to replace trunk struts on a 2005 Scion TC?

I called my local toyota dealer ship and got the trd struts for the pedistal spoiler. then with something holding the lid open, there are two clips, one on each end, that need to be pulled with a flat tip. on the new ones pull the same clip out a little and pop on the bottem first then the top. Then do the other side.

Trunk trouble

Mine broke too. I have read that this is pretty common in this car...i think Scion needs to seriously take a look at this problem and come up with a solution.
