Question about 1997 Acura CL
Hi everyone i have a prob with my vectra everytime i turn to the right in my car i get a its not a knocking more of a loud rumble.checked the cv joint and the bearings nothing wrong with these. Had new brakes really dont know what it is please can anyone help?
The steering sistem of your car should be the problem, that knock ur hearing is the rod going all the way to the end and knocking on the wall of the "steering box", it needs to be either refurbished or replaced, the problem is usually the gear there, u need a kit of orings and the piston of the steering sistem, must check for scratches on the main rod of the sistem too, some people have that rod chromed to avoid the wear and possible future leaks of the sistem, hope this helps
