Question about Cars & Trucks
Just installed simplyhid headlight kit and now my headlight switch is ticking when I turn the lights off. If I let them go off after the delay - they flicker like crazy for a while and there is a buzzing noise after that they go off and the switch seems to be ticking again. any help - thanks got the kit at www.simplyhidkits.com I called the company and they were no help for this issue - not their fault I suppose.

Sounds like a "bad" earth on the dash head unit. Also check enging to chassis earths, gearbox to chassis, battery to chassis etc.

had the same problem on my 92....check under the hood on the drivers side, towards the front, there is a "junction box" with all of the lighting wires connecting from the switches to the lights. My wires were all corroded inside,so I cleaned the ends and bought a new box from the local electronic supply store. The problem has not come back.
