SOURCE: location of the camshaft sensor on a 2000 chevy astro van
The sensor is in the distributor you can get it out with out pulling the distributor but its tight and has to be perfect .... pull the cap off and then the button youll see a sensor under a metal cup looking thing with a wire harness coming out of it i believe you need torks bits for the whole job if you go to any parts store and buy one then pull the cap this will make more sense.
Good luck and hope this helps.
SOURCE: I have a 2003 Chevy Astro Van and the air does not
Check vacuum line running from left side of fuel injection to the right side by the blower motor it is a small diameter line. if that came apart you will only get air coming out of defroster exits.
SOURCE: 2000 astro van won't start
What you have to do is check and see if you have fuel pressure. You have to remove the engine cover to check it.If you don`t have a pressure tester then remove the air cleaner hose to the engine and spray it with carb.cleaner or brake cleaner. If it starts for a few seconds then it is more than likely a fuel pump.If it does not start then you have to check for spark at the spark plugs.Make sure you check more than one plug.If no spark then you have to check the distributor cap and rotor.Make sure the rotor is good and cap also.Things that can cause no spark are the ignition module, coil, and cap and rotor.Hope this helps.Good luck.
