Timing marks

timing marks are typically on the crank pulley, without knowing what vehicle it is, look around the water pump. sometimes, there is a gap behind the water pump where you can see the marks. either way, they should be on the crank pulley.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

80,000 kilometers will be the safest to replace the timing belt. I do this on my own car and she still rides like new.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
