I'm not familiarl with that vehicle but I can offer some things to check. First make sure the coolant level is full. Typically the first thing to stop working is the heat when the coolant gets low.

Check to make sure the car is coming up to full operating temperature. If it is not you may have a bad thermostat.

Feel the hoses going to the heater core. They should bothe feel hot. If one is hot and one is significantly cooler than its possible that the heater core is starting to plug up. Backflushing may be an option.

You vehicle may have a coolant switching calve that blocks the flow of coolant to the heater core. Or it may switch between hot and cold via and electric motor and a blend door. It is possible that these could not be working also.

Again I am not familial with you specific vehicle but the above can apply. I hope it helps you get it figured out.

Heater Core is blown so now it's not producing Hot air just cold! Same thing happened in my 96 Jeep. You have to replace the heater core.

SOURCE: heater in car doesn't bow hot air but the air condintioning works

the heater blows air that is ambient temperature right? If so, there is a blend door in the ducting of the system. this enables you to use one blower motor to push hot air, cold air, or a mixture of the two. it seems likely that something in the control system of this door, or the actuator that turns it has faulted. It is controlled from the BCM (body control module). so, unfortunately, this will likely require some electrical diagnostics.

SOURCE: 2005 Grand Prix heater works fine when blower is

Sounds like a clogged heater core- insufficient coolant circulating through heater core, and as soon as you blow air past the core, it get cooled off.

Locate the fuse pannel and check for blown fuse...If fuse not blown - check fan control relay for proper operation - If thats not the problem check for voltage at the switch.

If the heater hoses for the front heater are getting hot, it could be a blend door problem under the dash.

First I would check your radiator fluid level, sometimes being low can have this effect. Usually the rear heaters sit at a lower level and so keep working. If that is fine, then you probably have an issue with the diversion door or controller that controls the hot/cold mixture.

I have a 2000 s 10 blazer heater doesnt work..but all fues are good and tried replacing swith in cab..no effect..but blower works just fine? Any ideas

Sound like a heater core, the heater core would be under your dash..Another sign of the heater core being gone, is you would notice the floor board being wet..It is possible that maybe at some point the floor board was wet and you didn't know here it came from and didn't give it another thought..But if the blower works..I would bet heater core...Or it could be a thermostate..check the thermostate first it would be the easiest.. and the cheapest..

No heat in a 1996 towncar

after checking coolant level, thermostat operation and if heater hoses feel hot(be careful not to burn your hand) the temperature blend door is probably at fault. It directs the air from the fan blower motor either across your heater core or A/C evaporator, giving you either hot or cold air. Most cases the dash has to come out to replace this $80 electronic motor. Good luck, Mr.P

Heater is not working on my 2003 dodge caravan

Since your blower is working and it is a heat issue, thats where we'll start,First thing is have you checked the coolant level in the radiator when engine is cold, make sure it is filled to top, next verify you have coolant in reserve ,Start your van and get it up to normal operation temperature,If your heat gauge on the dash works correctly it should be 190 degrees,Now lift the hood and locate the two heater hoses going into the heater assembly at the fire wall,Both hoses should be hot to hold on to,if both are hot and no heat inside your problem will be the blend air door in heater assembly.
if neither hose is that hot you need to replace the thermostat in the engine to get it up to 195 degrees.
if one hose is hot and one is luke warm then the heater core is blocked and to blame. hope this helps you.
