SOURCE: how do you remove radio from hyundai accent 1998

You have to take out the ash tray, and remove those two screws, then pop out the center dash trim. Careful, though, you have to take out a lot of the wiring inside of your center dash trim in order to pull it out for enough room to move the radio in and out. I'm doing this right now, actually..

Remove the facia plate, and remove the 4 screws that hold the radio in place. It's actually one of the simplest cars you can do.

Hi there, I have a 1999 Hyundai Excel Sprint and I cannot unlock the radio cassette. I've lost the security code card. Can you help?

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Hyundai service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

Cassette is stuck in hyundai sonata 2003. eject button doesn't work no more. you can hear the unit trying to eject whenever i try to start the car or push the eject button.

The only way to get the cassette out is to take the radio out and take it apart. The 'eject' mechanism has malfunctioned and will not allow you to remove the cassette normally.... SORRY!

Cassette code for accent 1995

The whole idea of a radio security code is that it protects the radio from theives, if it was that simple to get the radio working again there would be no point in having a code in the first place.
l am afraid the only way you are going to get your radio code is to go to a main dealer, once you have got it write it down somewhere safe.
Good luck!
