Question about Holden VK
Hi, I have a 1986 VK Commadore and I am putting a 253 V8 into it, I have found a V8 Diff out of a VB 1982 Commadore and was wondering if it fit my VK. Thanks Cole Mac

Waht do you mean is damaged the axle its self or just the inside gears(Ring and Pinion) are bad>If its the insides then yes the ring and pinion will inner change.Just be sure to use the assembly, pinion, ring gear, spider gears and all shims..

It should be a bolt-in. Check the overall length of the new transmission against the length of the old one. Sometimes the tail shaft can be different lengths and that may mean you will need a different driveshaft. If the difference is an inch or less you should be okay. Hope this helps.
