Fuse for shift lock blown twice in one day 2010 avenger any way to disable?

I would like to know how to disable the shift lock system, so it won't work. this system is just a nuisance to me. and I don't want it to permanently lock up the shifter.
if I remove the Pink rod that everyone has problems with it breaking, will that disable the lock or make it lock up permanently?

2010 Dodge Avenger 2.4 l above the fuse box are four fuses all alike . The far right one looking at the engine . What's that fuse? It's making a clicking noise and it drains my battery

Hello Jeffrey, it should be printed on the fuse box cover. From the "clicking" you describe, this sounds more like a relay than a fuse.

2010 merc gm shift lever stuck in park car will start steering wheel turns

You have a shift interlock problem . What kind of vehicle ? a mercury what ?
Shift Interlock System
The shift interlock system prevents shifting from PARK unless the brake pedal is depressed. The shift interlock system consists of a shift lock actuator mounted on the selector lever. If the ignition switch is in the RUN position, the shift lock actuator is disabled when the brake pedal is depressed.
If the selector lever will not move out of PARK with the key in the ON position and the brake pedal depressed, it will need to be unlocked manually.
Do the brake lights work ?

HOW DO I DIS ENGAGE THE SECURITY FEATURE ANTI THEFT MODE 2010 AVENGER

You can't disable it. Newer Dodges have chips in the key. Older Dodges you could lock the car down and open the door with the key to disarm the alarm. Try both doors. The latch sensor in one door could be broken. If still no luck, you'll have to get it on a scanner to read codes. Code readers don't read security codes.

To replace a blown turn signal light on a 2010 dodge avenger ?

This info is in your owners manual. For the rear lamp assembly, you open the trunk, pull trunk liner back a little from lamp assembly, remove two wing-nuts, pull on the lamp assembly and push on the wing nut studs to remove lamp assembly. The bulb socket twists out of the lamp assemble. Replace the bulbs. replace lamp assembly.
