Unfortunately this was a concern on this vehicle, even new they had a tendency to wander all over the road and **** around when hitting bumps and ruts in the road. Inspect your tie rods and ball joints to make sure they are tight, inspect the shaft that connects the steering sector to the steering column for free play. If all these are good remove and inspect the steering damper shock if it has one to make sure it is ok, if it doesn't have a steering shock install one. Ford has all the parts available to install one or you can get a kit from Rancho or other suspension parts company. And last off adjust the free play in the steering sector, you will need to set it tighter the factory specs to get the wander out, then have the alignment checked to make sure it is in spec and your truck should drive normally.

you need to remove door trim panel there are (2) 7mm screws that hold panel on .. 1 is behind the lower red light lens and the other is behind switch panel for the power window switch . remove both screws and remove small black panel above door trim by pulling strait off .(now there are (4) 11mm nuts the hold mirror on 2 are behind the small rubber plugs in front of door that you can see with panel on and the other 2 are under panel that you can see after panel is removed . the wiring need to be disconneced you may have to remove speaker for acess to feed new wiring down into the door good luck

it is located on the top of the engine in the center. It is round and has a black top. There will be 2 of them one smaller is an oil filter the larger one is the fuel filter.

If the cruise lamp comes on and the cruise does not set i would advise inspecting the cruise cable and make certain it is not broken, if ok the the servo has likely failed.
