Same exact problem here. Turned on the heat in the morning. Went to lunch, turned the heat down and still blowing hot air. A/C is working as you can hear the compresor engage when you turn on the A/C but the hot air is still there. It defenitly feels like the heater is still on. I believe there is a servo located behind the A/C switches in the dashboard that controls how much cold/hot air passs through and that might be the problem. I will be attempting to fix this over the weekend. Please let me know if you have a different diagnosis. Thanks.

A/C just stopped working this morning! Yesterday it was working fine..infact it was blwoing so cold you could see the cold air. Tried to add coolant and selant and it didn't do...

Sounds like you may have a leak in the inner condenser for your AC.
One way to check your vents may feel oily or have a strange smell.
Coolant only is for your Engine & heater.
Your AC uses 134r.
You should take it to a shop. If it was me I would take it to a Ac. OR Honda Dealer.
Not something to play with freon can cause burns.

Vapors coming through the vent w/AC & heater on - 96 VW Golf

Bad heater core. What is happening is when you turn on the air you are getting fumes from the heat of the engine and the heater core leaking causing you to get a smell and also fumes. I would suggest that you take it to the dealership or a mechanic and have the problem fixed ASAP due to the health issue

Smoke/Vapor coming from Air Vents

The whole dashboard of the vehicle will need to be disassembled, removal of stereo, temp controls, air vents, the dashboard will need to actually be pulled away from the front of the cabin, It is a very labor intensive repair.

Fan quit on 87 celebrity, heat ac, etc.. fuse ok ????

Check for bad connection at heater resistor or try tapping heater motor lightly
with ignition switch on and heater switch on. Could be heater switch connection.

I suggest you check the main relays - any auto electrician should be able to find a faulty relay.

2002 Kia Spectra heating problem

Have you checked the heater tap to see that it is working? If the heater tap is working you can undo the hoses at the firewall and use a garden hose to check that the water is flowing freely through both the heater radiator core and the engine.poke the garden hose up one of the hoses you removed and turn the water on make sure water is flowing freely out the other hose,if clear repeat test on heater radiator core.If heater core is blocked and you have compressed air you can gently flush the core by blowing the water through it.
