Replacing Cam Sensor in a 1999 Rodeo

I have a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo 4cyl and need to replace the cam sensor. How do I go about doing that? What holds the sensor in place, because they are no clips on the new or old one? It won't just pull out? Any help would be appreciated

It probably screws in can you put a wrench on it. if not it may have to be removed from the inside

Is a 1999 isuzu rodeo sport 2wd v6 auto trans idle air replacement valve interchangeable with a 1999 isuzu amigo sport

double posted why, ? please add to 1 post,
by edits or comments, please'
there are 3 , v6 engines, you never said which
why ask us, about parts, we dont sell parts
and would have to read the same books on parts as you
why ask use to do that.?
here is the list
USA only, RODEO, prime examples. the GAS v6 engines. 3.1L 3.2L 6vd1 SOHC, one cam per head, then the optional... 6vd1w DOHC, 2 cams in one head, w = DOHC optioned heads, then came... 3.5L (a stroked out, 3.2L.) 6ve1 are all DOHC engines. and have 24 valves. (6x4) with 2 rear cam sensor, used for VVT and spark both,
the engines must match ,to mix parts

here im at isuzu.com parts page
note it changed on August 99, mfg build dates. so.....
tricky
this will not cause low MPG
it will cause idle controls to be dead.
why not post all symptoms, first. and stop guessing?

Were is the water pump on a 1999 Isuzu roadeo with

Under the plastic covers. It runs off the timing belt. Make sure you replace the belt then replacing the water pump. Make sure you have ALL of the timing makrs lined up BEFORE disassembly. You should have the tool for holding the cams in place so they do not move. VERY important.

Where is the cam shaft position sensor on a 2001 izuzu rodeo 2.2. 4 cyl automatic

the sensor is under the timing belt cover at the top of the engine. If you are looking at the engine you'll see a black strip covering your spark plugs, your electrical connection on the camshaft position sensor is under there go ahead and disconnect the sensor. Next is the removal of the timing belt cover. You will need to take the bolts holding the cover in place they will hold it all the way down to the bottom of the engine. The bolt in the center top section is actually the bolt holding the sensor in place inside the engine so you will need to look and see how to maneuver the sensor out after the bolt is removed. Replace with new sensor and replace bolts. Plug electrical connector into the top of the sensor and replace spark plug cover. You are now done.
