Idle revs high and low changed idle control valve but still does it
Hi Kevin, Sounds like you have a problem with the cold start idle control. That unit is fitted onto the throttle body. If that is the unit you've replaced, the next place to look is the air flow sensor. That's the unit fitted between the air filter housing and the surge tank of the intake manifold. Also chech all vacuum hoses fordamage or loose fitting. Regards John

you need to adjust idle its supposed to idle high at startup but after warm its idle drops down to if memmory serves corrent 1000 to 1500 rpm

should be located on the upper intake by the throttle body locate your throttle linkage and it will be in that area
