Motor idels fine but cuts out as soon as you give it any gas
I have recently had an issue that sounds real similar. i took it to the ford house and it ended up being the fuel pump was going bad. it only had 14 pounds of pressure. replaced the fuel pump and it ran 100 % better

our idle air control is lazy the round sensor with 2 wire that goes on it it on the air intake try clean the throttle body with a good air intake cleaner hope it help FIXYA OUR POST THANKS PIERRE

sound to me that you fan relay is sticking your owners manual should show you which one it is .

In general, yes. This is a carb tuning issue. Another possibility is a vacuum leak somewhere, but most likely, it's a carb issue. You'll typically see your rpm drop a bit when you put it in gear, but that it sometimes stalls out points to a carb issue.
