Question about 1995 Chrysler LeBaron

I just bough a 1995 Chrysler LeBaron and I don't know how to put the top down.

The man I bought it from was selling it for a friend and he didn't know. The car didn't come with a manual.

Flip the sun-visors down. There should be two swivel latches there. Pull the latch handle toward the back of the car. In most cases you'll have to clear the hook from the lip underneath (that'll make sense when you see it). Once the latches are loose, look down at the middle console behind the shift selector. There should be a switch there that will operate the hydraulic pump that pulls the top up and down. Be forwarned...the top motors are inherit to electric motor breakdown (the brushes wear out pretty quickly) so if you hit the switch and don't hear the motor kick in...that is the most likely culprit.

I just put a new radiator in my 1995 Chrysler Lebaron and my fan wouldn't kick on, I've asked some people and they have all said I need to replace my thermostat? I've also checked the fuse


Did you TRANSFER the Temperature Sensor over to the new Radiator and did you Plug it in?

There is a RELAY that you may need to test or you may have an electrical problem going to the FANS? Remember you had to remove the Fans to install the Radiator but you have to Plug them in when you get done..

Hopefully you did not pinch a wire along the way...

that is a arter market alarm .that year did not come with a keyless enter. I have I have 2 conveter lebarons in my garage now. you will need to remove the after market alarm

If you can get access to the motor try tapping on it while pushing the switch it will usually start working again temporarily, but as far as replacing the regulator assy. Trust me on this you're going to want to take it in and have it done, I've done a few at our shop andit is a huge pain in the rear...lots to re adjust once it's back together due to convertible..I personally hate doing them.. And I'm pretty sure you can only get the motor with the whole regulator assy..

Just bought 1995 lebarron radiater was really rusty inside and running hot i flushed it following directions on bottle discovered it leaks put bars stop leak silver powder in it drove fine from cali back...


Get a new radiator. Sounds like your old one is too far gone-will only keep giving you problems. Flush the whole coolant system, maybe a good strong back flush at a radiator shop or shop.
Bars stop leak is okay for an emergency, but most mechanics say don't use it as it can sure plug up a heater core.

The air cond. only blows out from the defroster vents. the heater is the same way. its on a chrysler lebaron, 1995. was told it was a relay, but don''t Know where it is located.


Its more likely the blower door actuator which directs air from defrost to vent to floor. This is vacuum driven and a leak in the vacuum lines (located under the hood beginning at the firewall) will prevent the the door from directing air where you select. Look under the hood for a vacuum leak. Best ot test it with the AC or Heat on high.
