most diesels don't have a fuel pressure regulator, The primary pump pressurizes a fuel loop keeping fuel ready for the injector pump.
Throw in a few filters and thats about it.
And you certainly don't want to mess with the injector pump.

fuel pressure at the fuel rail test port should be at least 44 PSI, when u gun the engine it shuld go up very quickly, it should never drop, if it does the fuel filter is either plugged or the pump is defectuive

Hello , fuel pump relay location is in the relay box by the radiator. The fuel psi regulator is on the fuel rail itself. The regulator looks like a small disk about 1.5inchs in dia. It will have a vacuum line running to it.
