Question about 1984 Cadillac DeVille
It runs, has new cap, new rotor, new spark plugs, has a slight miss still but not real bad. The problem is when I put it in gear it has no power, and I have to feather it to get it to move. Can you please give me some ideas of what the problem could be? Thanks!
This sounds like you have a vaccum leak. The most common spot to check is the base of the intake. An easy way to find it is to start the car and 'carefully' spray either in this area. you will hear the engine pickup a bit when you hit the spot! Replace the gaskets as necessary. Also check that vacuum hoses are all attached. Frankster016
