SOURCE: Where can I find a spark plug wiring diagram for 1997 3.1l engine

Normally the firing order will be stamped on the top of the intake manifold also the number one plug will be the front one on the drivers side of the car. On the top of the distributor cap you should see a number one that is where the number one plug wire goes follow the firing order on the manifold and go clock wise on the distributor cap

Channged battery now heater doesn't work. Blows cold air all the time, what can be done?

Check your coolant level. Needs to be almost completely full to even get heat. If that's not it check the inlet and outlet hoses on the fire wall. Should be only two together that going in.if they are cold when your engine is hot your heater core may be clogged or not working

93 grand cherokee larado.. all the lights inside and out, heater, etc. went out. he checked the fuses and replaced the headlight switch. that corrected some of the problem except the dashlights, running...

I would use a multimeter and check the power side of the fuse block to see if power is making it to the fuse block. If so then you will have to check each wiring circuit one at a time to find the problem. Just for refference the older Jeeps had a very poor connection block. This is the main power connection at the fire wall in the engine compartment. It is at the back of the engine at the fire wall. For several years Jeep purchased some very small and cheep connection pins and they failed all the time. You may have one of these vehicles. The ones brought to me for repair I cut the connection block completely out and put new quality connections on each wire. None of these repairs every had the problem again.

I'm restoring a 1970 Chevelle that I purchased and I wanted to start the engine and I'm trying to start with remote jump switch at the starter. The car is not completely wired and I don't have fire at the...

Make you a jumper wire with crimp on end on the dist. side and a alligator clip on the other, hooking it to the battery positive post. Or get fancy with a on/off switch so you can turn it on or off with out pulling the wire off every time. You will also have to hook up a ground, be sure your battery is grounded to the engine and the engine to the frame and to the body. But the correct wiring is located in the harness behind the brake booster. The harness comes out the fire wall then turns over behind the booster and runs across the fire wall to feed the dist. the wipers the heater the stater and alt. on the pass side.

The Spark Plugs are out of the correct order. What is the right firing order?

Ford settled on a single firing order for v6 engines covering many many years of vehicles: 1-4-2-5-3-6 The cylinder numbers are from the front of the engine left to right is 4-5-6 and the fire wall side is 1-2-3 The coil number from the front is 5-6-4 and to the fire wall side is 1-2-3. Good luck and hope this helps, keep me posted if you need more information, be glad to help
