Question about 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada
It kinda shuddered the day before when i turned r or l then the next day i turned l to park and it clanged loud ,i drove i/2 mile and parked had mechanic out and he said ****** but it drives good in straight line goes into drive reverse
Have your CV boots and half shafts checked. If these are cracked, they will dry out and cause a lot of noise when turning. Also check your swaybar links, these cause a lot of noise also, but not only while turning.

This is very common. It is the transfer case encoder motor. That controls the shifting of the transfer case. It needs to be replaced. Its not that hard to replace but the part is expensive. You will also need to replace the front drive shaft boot clamps, you have to cut the originals off when removing the front drive shaft. I've replaced many of these for myself and others. Good luck I hope this helps you.
