That would be the intake manifold if I'm not mistaken.

My guess is it probably is because I'm currently having the same problem. 2001 crown vics were the last year they used plastic intake manifolds before switching over to aluminum. Ford had a recall on this part about 7 years ago because they were cracking, but they won't do nothing for you now. Part needs to be replaced before it gets to bad, mine got bad and I had to fill the coolant with water about every 5 miles. I found the part online for about $170. My local parts store was asking $230. Hope this helps any.

2010 alternator removal

then I found this

It's a little tricky.
I recently had to replace mine, it was still under warranty.

You don't have to removed any of the motor mounts.
A quick review of the process.

Release the pressure on the belt tensioner and remove
The belt around the alternator.
On the top left corner of the alternator you'll see a 10mm
Bolt bracket holding the alternator wires. Remove that 10mm bolt.
Then the alternator connector and power wire. A 12mm nut.
Then to remove the alternator you must remove the bracket which holds the alternator,
Which is the tricky part. The alternator has 2 14mm bolts holding it to the bracket, the bracket has 4 14mm bolts and
A 12mm bolt on the front. Two of the 14mm bolts are located behind the alternator.
Which means you would have to move the alternator toward the front of the car to reach the two bolts.
Then remove the bracket and alternator together. Then you would have to follow in reverse order to properly reach
Those 2 14mm behind the alternator.

It's going to seem like impossible especially your first time.
The Hyundai instruction just shows to remove the belt, under covers and the alternator. Literally.
I don't know where your located but I'm in Miami. If that's any help, we can do it together no issues.

2000 Mazda Protege lx. A phone charger tip broke, blew the fuse(s) for cigarette lighter, radio, and interior light. I checked and replaced mini fuse's in both interior and engine fuse boxes. Problem not...

There is an alternate problem with the wiring in the cigarette lighter where the wire melts and breaks. If you pull out the cigarette lighter assembly you will see a place where one wire splits into two. Find the damage point and replace the wire with a thicker one.

There are multiple names of EVAP sensors. There is an evap sensor on the fuel system and there is an evaporator coil on the at conditioner. The air conditioner is behind the dash, the other is in the engine compartment. If you know the code, post it in the comments.

While driving 1991 chevy cavalier gauges went wacko started cutting out lost charge in battery and died.Checked battery and alternator and both are fine. What should i check next?

Check all ground connectios first, make sure they are clean and tight, then check positive connections, use an ohm meter if possible. MAKE SURE YOU DIS-CONNECT THE BATTERY WHEN USING AN OHM METER.. Thanks Ray

Hello my name is becca i have a 2000 hyundai accent it was fine one night the next day i went out to start it it wouldnt got a boost it started but once the ground cable was taken off it died in seconds...

Batteries sometimes die completely for no apparent reason even though they were working fine only hours beforehand. Try another / new battery and get the alternator fuse checked, because it should not be obviously split, and replaced if necessary because with the fuse out, the battery will not be recharged. The alternator charging rate appears to be OK but have it checked anyway.

Need a picture or schematic of battery to alternator wiring on a 1982 southwind motorhome with a 454 chevrolet engine

I can't give you a schematic but i can tell you where the wires should go;Battery post of the alternator should go to the center post of the battery splitter box that splits between the engine and the house. In the alternator plug the wire closest to the battery post of the alternator needs to go to the charge light or an ignition source. The other pin in the plug can just be looped the the battery post of the alternator. If you have no power to the alternator but do have power to the box that splits the power from vehicle to house the you need to put all the wires on the post marked batt until you can get a new one, this should get you up and running. If you are planing to remain camping with the temporary repairs made then separate the wires until you are ready to start the camper to prevent a dead battery condition if the house battery gets run down.Hope this helps.

Electrical. alternator fuse link keeps blowing

The wiring harness coming from the solonoid/power distribution has one small guage wire splitting into three different medium guage wires. I have ran into this problem quite often on mustangs, and what I have found that works is take the split out of it, and run all three wires with fusible links added to them straight from the solonoid
