If its 4 wheel drive, you may want to check your u-joints / cv joints. also check to make sure the tire isnt rubbing on anything at a sharp angle. A bad wheel bearing will also cause a familiar issue

I have 1997 tahoe 4+4 .I put it in 4+4 HI and front end feel funny

Locking axle. The wheels have to spin at the same speed. When you turn, one wheel has to slip a little. This can feel funny. When you're in 2WD, the axle is "unlocked" and does not do that.

WHEN TURING KNOCKING SOUND COMMING FROM FRONT LEFT, CAN FEEL IT THROUGH THE STEERING WHEEL, HELP, THANK YOU , I HAVE A 2001 CHEVY TAHOE

That is caused by a worn CV joint (constant velocity joint), the universal flexible joint on the end of the front drive shaft. You should get this checked/repaired as soon as possible, if it fails it can cause other damage and leave you stranded
The noise is probably worse when you turn the wheel from full lock to full lock in either direction.

How to release the spare tire on the 2005 tahoe/

Remove your jack, and jack accessories. Open the box of accessories, and remove the ratcheting handle, and the wrench (looks like a socket on one end, and a flat screwdriver on the other end) Slide the ratcheting handle (with the side reading "down" towards you-I THINK) around the insert the screwdriver looking end of the wrench then slide the screwdriver end into the hole in your rear bumper- this lines up with a tube on the other side of the bumper and turn the ratchet. It will slowly winch down. Then you can move the toggle through the center hole of the wheel, and it will be free.

Why is my 2004 popping in the front end when turning hard. It only pops while turning at low speeds. cant be felt through steering wheel.Feels like coming out of floorboard.

Hello, it sounds like you have an issue with the front crossmember popping. GM had an issue with the crossmember. You must remove the crossmember and slot the holes about a quarter of an inch. Please rate my answer, Thank You.

Thumping or clicking noise when steering sharp right turns

If it's a 4WD then your front universal joint(s) on the front wheel drive shafts are on the way out and should be replaced. They should be replaced as a pair (both sides) so that you have uniform wear, but you can replace the bad one to solve the problem. The noise should be coming from one side or the other, indicating which one is going bad, but it's most likely the right sive CV joint. Also, it the rubber boot on the end of the driveshaft is damaged or torn, that would point to the offending joint. Your parts store should be able to sell you a reconditioned half shaft to fix the problem. Replacement can be done at home with decent tools.

05 equnox sharp turn noise

I forgot to ask if the noise was front or rear and stationary or moving so I will cover both.

If the noise is while the truck is stationary and the noise is from the front I would have to say the power steering pump. I have been changing several lately for similar concerns.

As far as the rear if the noise happens while making sharp turns and makes a whirring/growling noise while in motion its the rear differntial. What you can do yourself to be sure is find an open lot and drive in rather tight circles for about a minute, then noise should stop. This action flushes the clutch disks and stops the noise. If the noise goes away you will need to do a rear diff flush.

The fluid is very expensive so be sure this is your problem first.

In order to do the flush drive in tight circles for 5 minutes in each direction and then drain and fill the rear diff with the new Versatrak fluid.

Good Luck
