HI The pulsing of the brake pedal is the ABS system cutting in because it thinks there is a situation
where one or more wheels is slowing down different to the other wheels ( But in reality is not ).
The problem is one of the wheel speed sensors giving a wrong signal to the system.
Bu can also be the toothed wheel which activates the sensors ( One on each wheel ) may be rusty or debri between the teeth so sensor does not give a clean signal .
This week i have replaced 2 toothed wheels for this problem on another product. The rigs were so
rusty they split and were then loose on the wheel hub
Hope i have been of some help to you ( a diagnosis would tell you exactly which wheel was at fault )
