The Rotors on 94 F-150 are made on the hub. You should repack bearings or replace them if they are worn or pitted, and should use new wheel seals

Is your tyre's all the same size. Incorrect tyre's will change the racio from back to front and both driveshaft's are'nt turning at the same speed then it will grind. When trying to take it out of 4WD their will be preasure on the driveshaft's and this will leave if hard to disengage. Put it in 4WD drive it forward try the gearshift if it's hard to move then reverce a bit and try again it should come out easily. For all 4WD systems it is recumended thet the vehicle is reversed a few mitre's tto fully disengage the 4WD

SOURCE: 2004 stx f150 right front wheel grinding noise,

I agree with duane_wong on this one ( not like he was looking for my approval :) ), it sounds like a problem with the IWE ( Integrated Wheel End ) on that side.
Quick test, when you are in 4H ( or 4L ) does the noise still happen ?
I would say cracked vacuum line to the IWE, or a problem with the vacuum diaphragm in the IWE. You can test by having the motor running in park, and in 2H, and check the vacuum line at the IWE for vacuum. Make sure you test to the vacuum line, not the vent line ( ends in the engine compartment, not hooked to anything )

This is a block diagram of the IWE vacuum system

Does both front tires pull on a 2006 ford f150 when in 4 wheel drive

Only when on hard surface. If one wheel looses traction ( in a bog or up in the air) then all the drive force is transferred to that wheel by the differential action. IF you want both front wheels to drive all the time the you will need to fit either a limited slip front diff or a diff locker system

Why is the rear end on driver side making on clinking noise?

Jack the vehicle up by the pumpkin and use kickstand to support. Turn the wheel back and forth and you d should be able to isolate. It sounds like a gear in reared or wheel bearing

4x4 does not engage in my 04 ford f150 4x4 new model. tried looking for do it yourself books but no luck

check to see if there is noise coming from either side of the front wheels. jack all four wheels and turn on four wheel drive, if one of the front wheel is not turning then the actuator on that wheel is bad. the actuator is vacuum activated so also check the vacuum hoses go to the wheels.

2005 F150 5.4 will not engage 4 wheel drive. Just

check to see if you hear any grinding noise in the front wheel, if there is then one of the actuator in the front wheels is bad. the dealer sells for around 120.

4/04 ford f150 4x4 front axle actuator won' t stay disengaged

Even though you checked the vacuum lines and found no leaks it does not mean there isn't a problem. The check valve in the line closest to the firewall actuator is probably your problem. Had the same issue replaced this line and solved it. The check valves in the vacuum lines are your best next guess.
