SOURCE: how do you reset "change

Some cars require you to pump the gas pedal a couple of times (2-3) with the ignition switch on (don't start the vehicle). Then turn the ignition switch off then start the vehicle.

SOURCE: I can't find the keyless entry code for my 2004 ford freestar

The code is on the fuse box under the dash near the hood release. On my van there are two bar codes on a sticker attached to the fuse box. Under the first bar code, on the right side is the 5 digit code (bring your glasses the numbers are really small). After you get this code, just search the internet and there are plenty of forums on programing the keyless remote and also adding your own unique number to the key pad entry.

Good Luck

Need to replace oil pan on 2004 Ford Freestar?

What is the question? Use new pan and proper gasket

My 2004 ford freestar runs well but is leaking about a quart of oil a week almost

If it's leaking from inside the engine then it would be coming from the valve cover. The cover gasket seal is no longer sealing properly. If oil is leaking down under the car then check around the oil pan, could be gasket or rear main oil seal or front oil seal.

Leaking oil Ford Freestar-was halfway between two lines on dipstick when I checked last week-puddle this evening and am down just past the bottom line-put in a quart but am worried to drive the car to

well it could be several things like pan plug seal cracked, oil pan leaking, rear main seal bad, front engine seal bad, head bolts not properly torqued, head could be cracked, but I would start with the oil pan drain plug seal and work from there.

How do I change the transmission oil on my 2005 Freestar

Most newer Fords do not require this, and most don't even have a dipstick for the transmission.
Ask your Ford dealer about it...
If you are set on changing it you must drop the pan, and measure the amount of fluid in the pan.
Pour that amount of new fluid into the pan, and then reinstall the pan.
