Take then old battery out with the proper size wrenches making sure not to touch metal when taking positive off. Put new battery in. If your vehicle has a battery holder you will have to take this off with socket or wrench....usually long bolt

After changing the battery in my dodge charger the sensors will not go off and the transmission wont switch is there something im supposed to do after changing the battery

The ESP system needs to be recalibrated after having the battery disconnected. Turn the steering wheel lock-to-lock a couple times. Should recalibrate it.

Is changing the battery hard?

No, it is quite easy - remove battery cover by appyling pressure on the covers latches. you will need a ratchet and extension to loosen the battery grip at the bottom of the battery tray, I believe its a 14 mm socket.

How do i change my car battery without losing my radio.

You need to keep a supply to it. You can buy various devices that plug into your cigar lighter. The quite simply have one of these square 9 volt radio type batteries in them. This keeps power on while changing battery. You could easily make something up with one of these batteries and a couple of leads going to the terminals after loosening the bolts. Be careful though and make sure your wires are secure so the do not come off while wrestling with the battery.
