Speedometer and rpm gauge not working and the car shifts just fine

You will need to pull your instrument cluster and have it repaired. Kind of common problem on GM vehicles of that era. There are plenty of places that repair and rebuild clusters, Ive even seen them on e bay .

I have a 1993 chevy blazer and it shifts hard in every gear.I think it mihgt be vacume but not shur.please help

Not vacumm controlled anymore.Hard shifts are caused by high line pressure. you may have a trouble code stored in the computer and transmissions code back then did not always turn the check engine light on.A stored code will trigger high line pressure. You could have a bad force motor and this was common for 93 and 94, infact gm changed the solenoid and you will need to buy the late design if needed.I would start by having a shop pull the codes.

CAR RUNS FINE BUT WHEN I DRIVE FASTER THEN 70 MPH THE CHECK TRANSNISSION LIGHT TURNS ON THE TRANS HAS A BANGING SOUND. IT GIVES A INCORRECT GEAR CODE. PLZ HELP

Don't drive faster than 70Mph! That is over 115 feet per second! Anyway, it's 4WD, correct? Check the fluids in the tranmission and transfer case. You transmission may need to be serviced. Limit your speed to 50-60 MPH and don't shift hard...with a lot of RPM's, when taking off and going through 1st 2nd and 3rd. Drive gently until you can have the transmission serviced.

Saturn 2007 Aura: The Service Air Bag light comes on and then goes off. This happened numerous times before I took it to the dealer. I finally took it to the gm dealer last year and there was no trouble...

I'm sorry to hear that you've had so many problems. I had a 2007 Aura and now I have a 2009. I love them and will likely move the Buick Regal when the time comes. Any how, I don't have an answer per se, but a bit of experience with a similar situation. Has your passenger seat been wet or otherwise 'stressed'? I experienced a similar problem in my 2007 and the problem was with the pressure sensing mat in the seat bottom on the passenger seat (between the cover and pad).

I installed a remanufactured transmission from gm. I also installed a shift indicator. My truck will not go into gear when I shift it into drive.

make sure the the adjustment for the shifter linkage is adjusted properly. if your stll having troubles, take it to your local GM service department and have inspected. If there is a internal problem with the transmssion they can fix or replaced it under the GM parts warranty the transmission comes with.

Stalls out intermittently at high speed Even if travelling at 70mph the car will stall and i have to shift to neutral and start it up again..

have the electronic engine control system trouble codes checked, bet u will have a trouble code for a crankshaft postion sensor. Kragen and Autozone (and others like them) do this for free except in california here the courts don't like parts tech's diagnosing cars, so an injunction was issued to cease and desist..

Speedometer quit working and now transmission won't shift right

have u run a trouble code test on the computer control unit? most likely u will find thatthe vehicle speed sensor has failed, it is on the outside of the trans. here is how u run a trouble code test, go to the link for instructions.
