Headlights randomly turn off

If you are referring to the maker light on the fender you must remove the plastic wheel well liner panel section. from=nt of wheel well to access the light.

Could be a bad ground at the particular headlamp .

there is an oil pressure switch that shuts the fuel off if the key is on and the engine has no pressure. the switch is useally located near the oil filter on the block, this is not a common problem so it is unlikely it is your cause of no fuel pressure.

Cadillac has a revised ignition cylinder for this isssue.. It has been happening a lot.

your ignition switch needs replaced, or the lock cylinder that holds the key if it just turns freely. it will need to be taken somewhere, it's not that easy of a job. hurry before you run out of gas!! how are you shutting it off? if you can find it, you could pull the fuel pump relay, but the lites are probably on also and will drain the battery
