SOURCE: looking how to lower spare tire on toyota sienna

Hello. Welcome to FixYa! Please allow us to assist you.

The procedure is as follows, to remove the spare tire from a 2WD Sienna:

Move the passenger seat as far forward as possible.
Move the passenger side middle seat back as far as possible.
Obtain your tire tool (the one you would use to remove the lugnuts)
Observe the carpeting behind the front passenger seat; you will see a small piece of carpet, like a small 'flap', that can be raised.
Under this flap is a small silver 'bolt'. Fit the lug wrench onto this bolt, and rotate it. This will lower the cable that raises the spare tire up under the area between the passenger front and rear seats.

Note: 4WD Siennas do not have any spare tires, as they came with 'run-flat' tires. Toyota did not fit a spare on the 4WD units.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance today.

Start is ok but release gas pedal engine is stop

Sounds like the throttle stop is worn. Since this car is 13 years old, that is what I would suspect.

Accelerating

You didn't say what year it is but on later models,2004 and up there is a fuse for the throttle control, check in the box under the hood for a fuse marked ETCS, try a new fuse in it's place.
