The horn blows when the car is in park... The windshield wipers will not go off I have to turn the car off sometimes to make them go off!

- 2002 malibu horn honks while driving, while in park, after it is shut off... anytime it feels like it... whether I'm in it or not...I was told it was the theft system.... seems like if it honks at me, the next time the car wont start....-

- I have the same problem and was told it has something to do with the code that CHEVY put in to program the transmitter. The only thing is, I bought the car from a used car lot with no transmitter. Do you have a transmitter?

I have owned my 1996 Cavalier for just over a month and I notice that it seems to rev alot when you start moving forward and takes along time to find second gear. The car also jerks sometimes when you put your foot on the pedal to move from a stop position ie: waiting at the lights. Can anyone give me any ideas to what this might mean? Is it the transmission?

I would like to have the car examined to see if should spend money on it. I would like to restore it. I'm looking for an honest mechanic shop.

my cars horn beeps abour 20 seconds after i but the car in park. it doesnt matter if its still running or not. it is a 2005 chevy malibu classic. any advice. thanks
